EVENT: Visit from CCE PowerHouse

May 7 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us on Thursday, May 7th for a visit (in our parking lot!) from Corning Cooperative Extension’s tiny PowerHouse!  This mobile Tiny House is an example of Clean Energy housing so that the CCE can use hands-on displays to teach about home energy & efficiencies. CCE will also hold a session on understanding home energy bills & costs all the while helping the kiddos build a Solar Oven right in our parking lot! (Solar oven building is targeted for the 8-12 YO age group but all are welcome).

The PowerHouse is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County and supports Smart Energy Choices. Smart Energy Choices helps households with limited income learn about ways they can save energy and money in the Southern Tier region.  This visit from the PowerHouse is free & open to all.
